Brief Answer:
No relationship between fistula and Cauda Eq synd

Detailed Answer:
Hello madam, I have gone through your question and understand your concern.

I read that you treated the anal fistula after an injury, which is not clear what type of injury it was. After treating the fistula, you can have bowel disfunction, which is caused by either the procedure or by the fistula itself.

The cauda equine syndrome, instead invloves, beside bowel disfunction, also urinary sphincter disfunction, saddle hypoesthesia (numbness on the genital area) and some weakness or sensory changes in the legs. Of all these symptoms the bowel disfunction has the lowest probablity to occur.

But, I certainly exclude any relationship between anal fistula and cauda equina syndrome.

I can not exclude the levoscoliosis with the cauda equina syndrome, but at no way it is not related to the fistula.

Hope this answers your questions, please feel free for any further question.

Wishing you good health
