Brief Answer:
depends on stroke recovery and pneumonia severity.

Detailed Answer:
Hello and Welcome

I appreciate your concern.

The decision on whether she can travel to USA , would depend on her recovery done so far.

A score used to predict outcome and recovery in a stroke patient is the GCS ( Glasgow Coma Scale ). The higher the score , i.e in the range of 13 to 15, better the chances of allowing the trip to USA.

Pneumonia , post CVA ( Stroke ) most commonly due to aspiration, is one of the top causes of mortality in a patient. Serial chest x rays, ABGs, TLC and Fever are the parameters which can be used to assess the severity of the pneumonia.

If your wife is conscious, oriented in terms of time , place and person and the pneumonia is controlled then she could make the trip to USA.

If you have access to her reports including the treatment she is receiving , you may share them with me to guide you better.
