Is Accidental Contact Of Neosporin In Eyes Harmful?

Question: I put neosporin on my elbow before i went to bed. If a little bit smeared on say the sheets and I rubbed my face or got some on my hands at night and put my hands to say my eyes could that hurt me?

Most of neosporin ointment is adsorbed through skin soon after it is applied and other part probably vaporized and dried out during the night so even if you did touch your face and eyes, there would be just minor concentration of neosporin that could not cause any bad effect.
It may be harmful for eyes if it is applied directly on it.
