Is A Troponin Level Of <0.015 In Blood A Concern?

Question: I want feeling well so I went the the er and they did a blood test for troponin 1 levels and it came back <0.015, I didn't get my results reviewed by a dr but I want to know if this is something to worry about.

Troponin is a test done to detect any kind of damage to the heart muscle but detecting the above molecule on the blood . The normal value is less than 0.01 ng/ml .

Considering your age is 26 years and you are well protected by your hormones against any major heart issues ,

The troponin results can be safely considered negative if it was done after 3 hours of the chest pain onset .

Also rather than a single value the trend is more important, so another sample after 6 hours of the first if still negative we can rule out heart as the cause of your symptoms 99.6 % , which is very accurate for any test .
