Question: I delivered my baby two weeks ago and I'm breastfeeding, my prolactin level is 4516 ulu/ml is this normal during breastfeeding ?

Ok doctor another concern, sine week 20 of pregnancy i'm experiancing constant dizziness and off balancethat feels like i'm in a boat this happens all time i'm even affraid to go anywhere because if it. I thoght it was related to pregnancy but not that i am two weeks postpartum still i have the same issue ! Even sometimes i have those weird head pains. I have seen an ENT and everything was normal and i have done all the blood tests and everything was normal to so i'm wondring whats causing it ?

According to your information, we need to rule out Benign Paroxysmal Positional Vertigo (BPPV), which includes repeated episodes of positional vertigo & spinning sensation, caused by changes in the position of the head.

It is basically inner ear disorder and needs further evaluation with specific tests and clinical methods. Hall-pike and Epley's maneuver are widely used for diagnosis of the same. EEG and MRI scan are other investigation for differential diagnosis.

TREATMENT: Vestibular exercise is quite useful in this case. You should consult with your ENT doctor for demonstration.

Drugs like Meclizine or Scopolamine can be used to treat the condition. Metoprolol or Tricyclic Anti-depressant/ Topiramate are useful for vestibular migraine (head pain). Kindly, procure complete prescription from your doctor.
