Question: it's a keto supplement or diet safe for your heart? I read stories about it causing palpitations or qt intervals and afib. but I'm really interested in trying this keto supplement if it's safe.

The ketogenic diet is a very low-carbohydrate,high-fat diet,As [per the standard cardiology text High fat diet is never good for heart in long terms.Though there is no specific mentions about palpitations and fibrillation ,But a high fat diet always puts you at higher risk of coronary artery disease in future.Total fat content of diet should not be more then 10-15%.Keto diet is basically meant to treat refractory epilepsy.Though not asked i would advice you to take normal food,Remain natural.I don't think there is any need to go for artificially designed diet plans.

it's not really a change in diet they're asking but to take a keto supplement everyday. Is that the same thing

Hi again,
In that case yes you can take the supplement everyday but be sure to cut fats in your normal diet.Total fat intake should not be more then 15% in a day,So as keto is high in fats cut fats in your normal diet,to balance.
My only concern is increased fat uptakes.

My Daughter has epilepsy and will soon be 18 because her pediatric Doctor has left should she see an adult doctor? She was diagnosed (at 14 or so) with simple complex seizures and has tried over three medicines without any luck. I was just thinking there may be more options out there for adults?

My son is 12 years old and he has asizures every day he took medications lamictal 200mg twice away , topamax 200mg twice , involving 600mg twice and clobazam 5mg in the morning and 10 mg at night now the seizures comes too much while sleeping . Dear Doctor: My son is now of 32. he suffer with epilepsy for last 32year right from his birth . after completing 4 time 3 year course of epilepsy medicine. we try some other herbal medicines. but no any medicine remove his epilepsy. MRI 3time is normal. he has to face one or two time fits in a week. but every time it takes 5 seconds to 20 seconds. many time on just awake in morning and any time awakening in the day or night, and also after 5 minutes to 20 minutes deep sleeping. now he is taking (1). eptoin 100 mg 2 tablets morning 2 tablets evening. (2). epilex chrono 300. 1 tablet every evening after meal . but sir no any recovery till now. now with all these he is feeling pain in his rib bones. bone specialist says that vitamin A and D are very low due to bad effects of eptoin. sir we are very help less (with very low earning). what should we do. he is my only son. now he is married and is a father of a child. but no recovery in epilepsy and bad effect like heavy pain in rib bones, heavy back pain , feeling a bubble like thing during seizure, badly agitate, sadness,illusion, and rough speaking are ruining our family. please suggest me should my son stop the eptoin. or please suggest me the alternate of this eptoin 300 more seizure he has to face when he take any another medicine while taking eptoin. 9888174392
