Is Stematil safe with Sertraline?
Stematil is safe with sertraline
Hello and Welcome
I appreciate your concern
Sertraline will increase the level of Stematil (pro chlorperazine ) by affecting hepatic metabolism. Though the interaction is minor and you can safely take stematil with prochlorperazine.
Wishing you best of health
Please consult your doctor before deciding on any further course of action.

The interaction doesnt lead to serotonin syndrome
Respected madam sertraline is an SSRI ( selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor ). Serotonin syndrome is a drug interaction of SSRIs with drugs like MAO inhibitors, Tricyclic anti depressants, meperidine , dextromethorphan.
There is a minor interaction of sertraline with stematil and based on a number of clinical interactions, concomitant use of both does not lead to serotonin syndrome. You can use both safely.
Hope this makes it more clear.
Please consult your doctor before taking any medication.
