Brief Answer:
anti-d injection is required if your partner is Rh positive blood group

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for the query to HCM,
IF YOUR PARTNER IS ALSO NEGATIVE BLOOD GROUP THEN YOU NEED NOT REQUIRE IT BUT IF HE IS POSITIVE and you are negative blood group then you need an ANTI-D 300mcg ( RhoGAM) injection within 72hrs of termination of pregnancy to avoid any chance of isoimmunization. Please insist your doctor to administer it to you.

Detailed Answer:
It is necessary if the partner is RH positive because if so and injection not taken then you may develop antibodies against RH positive antigen in your body and it can easily affect your next pregnancy if it turns out to be RH positive, causing erythroblastosis details and simply pregnancy loss. Please confirm your partner's blood group and act accordingly.
