These medications are the same except that percocet has some tylenol added to it. They are both used to manage severe pains. How long they stay in blood depends on the form used. They can be in blood for up 4-12hours depending on the formulation. Immediate release formulations last about four hours and extended release formulations can go up to 12hours.

It takes at least 10days for this drug to be completely out of the body such that a urine test would be negative for a drug screen. However, 5-10days remains a gray area where you can test either positive or negative but 10days is for sure a negative test and 5days for sure a positive test.
