Brief Answer:
Levolin ( levosalbutamol) syrup is given 0.05mg/kg as dose.

Detailed Answer:
Hi

Thank you for asking HCM

I have gone through your query. Levosalbutamol (levolin) is given 0.05mg/kg as dose. 5ml contains 1mg. So it will depend on the weight of your infant. For 10 kg baby 2.5ml can be given. If 5kg then 1.25ml.

If you increase the dose of levolin your baby can get palpitation. So be careful.

Let me know if anything not clear.
I am happy to help you.
Thanks.

Explained below.

Detailed Answer:
Welcome again.

Thank you for your follow up.

If 6.5 kg then the dosage should be around 1.5 ml up to 4 times daily. This is the normal dosage. But if your paediatrician advise then you can give the prescribed dose.

Hope this may help you. Let me know if anything not clear.
Thanks.
