This is the same drug. One is the brand name(Klonopin) and contains the active ingredient clonazepam. Clonazepam is the generic name. They are exactly the same in terms of action but for the branding.

Ativan is of the same family as klonopin/clonazepam. They are used to treat the same disease conditions. The choice is dependent on the prescribing physician.
