Is Haloperidol Effective In Treating Dementia?

Question: My Father-in-law was just prescribed Haloperidol 1MG. 2 tablets a night. It seems to help with his clarity-but not his sleep. Is there anything we can ask his doctor to prescribe to actually get him asleep instead of wandering around the house all night?
He has advanced Alzheimer's...Dementia
