Question: I had a Hepatitis C antibody test HCV Ab, with a nonreactive result, and my HCVAB Number is .08
Is this a good result?

Actually the number is .08. I was worried because along with my results it states "Health Department notified in accordance with reportable infectious disease guidelines."

I don't know if that's just a standard statement when this test is performed.

That is not for you. A standard statement on every lab report. When there is communicable disease suspected in patients then doctor is bound to inform authorities to prevent epidemic. Not in your case.
