Brief Answer:
Yes it is enough dose and duration

Detailed Answer:
Hello XXXX, I understand your concern. I am Dr. Arun Tank & I am infectious disease specialist. I am going to answer your concern.

-NGU is Non Gonococcal urethritis. Urethritis caused by organisms other than Gonococci.

-There are many organisms which cause it like chlamydia, ureaplasma etc.

-Treatment of NGU includes Doxycycline 100mg twice a day for seven day. You have mentioned a 14 days which is more than enough duration to cure NGU. Alternatively you can also take Azithromycin 1gm single dose or Erythromycin 500mg twice daily for 14 days or Ofloxacin 200mg twice a day or 400mg once a day for 7 days. All these are prescription medicines that require written prescription from a doctor.

-It is needed here to mention that both the partner should be treated simultaneously. Also use condom to prevent cross infection.

If you have anything else to ask I will be very happy to answer that. We wish you a best health at healthcare magic.
Thank you,
Dr. Arun Tank
