Is Diane 35 The Right Medicine For PCOS?

Question: QUESTION FOR DR RATNESH PANDEY - I have a very chronic case of PCOS ever since puberty. It was diagnosed when I was 16 and now I am 34. So you can imagine that I have tried a variety of allopathic solutions. For the last 11 years I have been taking Diane 35 for 21 days and only then get my menstrual cycle else I don't get it at all. I would like to know if it can be solved from the root through homeopathy. Also let me know if you need any specific reports. P lease note that I have no other issues like high sugar sugar, thyroid etc. Even my lipid profile is in control. Weight is 61 kg . Height 5 feet 2 inches

I will definitely look for this medicine. However I missed to mention one more thing about my treatment - I have been consulting an Ayurvedic doctor locally in Navi XXXXXXX for the last 5 months. These medicines seem to work on my metabolism. my cycles haven't yet regularised fully but I see small positive signs like Pre menstrual symptoms which I never had while taking the allopathic medicines. He advises me every 20 days so I believe he is able to track my progress. He too said that it may take several months to recover fully as I had been on Diane 35 for a long time and have also undergone IVF in 2013. While I am not in a hurry but badly want to address the root causes hence consulting you. Do you think homeo and Ayurvedic treatments may interfere with each other?

There is no problem in taking the Homeopathic and Ayurvedic medicine simultaneously. And they will not intervene the action of each other.
You can take both the medicine together.
I would advice to continue Ayurvedic medicine because you are already getting benefit by those medicine. Medicine has no side effect and best for chronic cases.

I checked with leading homeopathic shops in XXXXXXX and they say that only oophorinum 6x is available, that too in powder form. They are saying that oophorinum 3X is out of manufacture. Please advise how should we proceed.

You can place your order for oophorinum 6x. Take 10 grain (spoon) one dose every day.
1 grain is a very small quantity and weight is near about .64 milligram or 10 grain is same as 1 crocin tablet (you can search to Google) you can find grain spoon in any good homoeopathic pharmacy.

As such, I have no symptoms except for absence of menstrual cycle. By initial aggravation, do you mean increase in the cysts? Another query I have is regarding food - is there anything that I should avoid for the medicine to work effectively?

In homeopathy some time it is seen that after the medication some time the frequency of symptom is increased. This is because is controlled aggravation of medicine.
In your case you may feel little feverish or unusual (not necessary) and it will subside automatically. without any complication. Medicine will not cause in any increase of size or number of cyst.
For a better effect you need to to continue taking the medicine as advise
Adv. Exercise
Avoid Spicy food junk food, Alcohol, Smoking etc
Maintain strict diet and sleep routine.
