Brief Answer: Safe with caution. Detailed Answer: Hello XXXX, This drug can be used cautiously during breast feeding. Limited trials have shown that chances of defect in the infant are remote. So if you need to take it, make sure its short term use.

The Gynec has given to me for 3 days twice as there is a little infection in stitches , initially after discharge I was given combiflam and pentacid , it was normal delivery but due to infection this was given along with neo sprin which was given earlier also , is it ok , baby is 10 days old is it ok

Brief Answer: fine Detailed Answer: Yes , in such a case it's ok. 3 days treatment is adequately short term . With mild infection it can be used . Also wash with betadine solution .
