Question: is aclovir for genital herpes a daily medication or just daily during outbreak? i am cofused, pharmacist says daily, nurse pract. says only during outbreak.

If this is for an outbreak, it should be daily and at least 4times daily and ideally 5times daily. If this is for a recurrence or prevention of outbreaks, it is typically administered thrice daily.
