Infant Have Fever. On Augmentin And Advil For Ear Infection And Tonsillitis. Any Suggestion?

Question: Hi, I have an 11 month old with a fever. She saw her doctor on Tuesday and was daignosed with an ear infection and tonsillitis. She is on augmentin and advil. Her temperature is 102 and her hands and feet are cold.Do I need to contact her doctor? Thank you

Hi,
Usually children present like this.
Some times with fever also the extremities will be cold.
You watch the child.
If he has been feeding well and playing whenever temp was down and active in between fever ,you need not worry.
Cover the extremities,put socks etc and observe.
By morning if he is not OK, you can go for review again.
He seems to be on antibiotics already.
