Question: I took a home saliva test and found out that I have too much progesterone relative to estrogen (see attached report). I took the test 5 days after ovulation, and the test says that my levels are slightly below the normal range. What should I do, if anything?

Brief Answer:
Progesterone supplements can help.

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for posting your query.
I have gone through your query and understand your health concerns.
The progesterone levels start rising after ovulation and reach the peak levels around 7 days after ovulation. The levels will be higher than the estrogen levels. If the levels of progesterone are slightly lower then you can wait and repeat the test after 3 days and see if the levels increase. Otherwise you can start natural micronized progesterone supplements after consulting with your gynecologist.

Brief Answer:
Report shows slightly low estradiol levels.

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for writing again.
I have seen the attached report. The levels of estradiol are marginally low but levels of progesterone and testosterone are within normal limits. No need to worry. These levels do vary according to the day on which the test is done. No active treatment is needed at present.
Hope my answer is helpful.
