Question: I think I may have had a miscarriage yesterday but I'm not sure.
I Had started bleeding very heavily (abnormally colored and textured as well) so I assumed it was just my period;
I was cleaning when I suddenly felt myself starting to blackout and so I went to lay down in bed- after I had laid down I started cramping so unbelievably bad (like the worst pain I've ever felt kind of bad) I was sweating and I couldn't hold still, I had to keep moving constantly as means of distracting myself from the pain I suppose but it was excruciating.
I couldn't speak, or do really anything but writhe in pain- and then I got extremely nauseous and started vomiting repeatedly, even though I hadn't eaten anything. I puked until there was nothing left in my stomach and I forced myself to take a drink of water, the second I swallowed it came back up immediately. This went on for almost an HOUR. It's a day later now and I'm still extremely fatigued, the cramping is nowhere near how it was but I just have a really strange feeling in my stomach, and I'm bleeding extremely heavily. My periods have never been excessively bad like that, and I've never in my life puked or almost passed out from pain. Does this sound like a miscarriage?

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Welcome to 'Ask A Doctor' service.
I am Dr. Ramadevi Wani. I will be answering your concerns today.

At first, since you are still bleeding extremely heavy, you need to go to the emergency care of the hospital immediately.

When was your last period in the month of June?
If you have not missed your normal cycle with the normal flow in the month of XXXXXXX the chances of pregnancy and miscarriage are small.

There can be other causes like uterine polyp or fibroid for such heavy flow. A pregnancy test and ultrasound of pelvis will help in finding the cause for such bleeding. Accordingly, treatment can be given.

If you have further concerns I will be happy to answer.
Best wishes
