I Seem To Have Some Heat Boils Or I Am

Question: I seem to have some heat boils or I am not sure what you call them, please see the pic. I am assuming they are because of body heat but am not sure. Can u please suggest what to do.

Hello and welcome to ask a doctor service. I have read your query and viewed the image.

I can see grouped lesions at the angle of mouth. You seem to have Herpes Labialis/ Cold Sores. It is most commonly caused by HSV type 1. Physical examination by a dermatologist will confirm diagnosis.

In addition I suggest you to apply a topical antibiotic e.g Mupirocin 2% ointment (T-Bact cream) twice daily. I suggest you to take an oral antiviral e.g Acyclovir 400mg(Zovirax tab), thrice daily for a week.

These bumps should dry up in 5 days
However, herpes labialis can recur. The medication I suggested can also be taken for an episode of recurrence. These medications are prescription medications. You may talk to your doctor for a prescription. Let me know after a week if any issues.
