What Is The Likelihood Of Getting A Positive RNA Test Result Of Antigen P-24 Test Is Non-reactive Post Unprotected Sex?
Question: I recently had unprotected sex with a female about 26 days ago. I gave my RNA test this past thursday and got my HIV Screen 4th Generation wRfx today with the result that I am HIV negative. So, I am worrying about my RNA tests and very anxious and worried! WHAT IS THE LIKELIHOOD OF GETTING POSITIVE WITH RNA TEST IF ANTIGEN P-24 TEST IS NON REACTIVE (MEANING HIV NEGATIVE)? In other words, what is the correlation between the RNA test and the antigen p-24 test?

You had unprotected sex with some female but HIV 4th generation test after 26 days is negative which is more than 90% reliable so the chances of haing HIV infection are very unlikely. There is no co-relation between RNA and Antigen test. Allay the fear or anxiety related to HIV get tested again after 3 months to get 100% conclusive result.
