Brief Answer:
Not a side effect of lamotrigine.

Detailed Answer:

Hello,

Lamotrigine does not give directly gas but only upset stomach. This side effect though is only in the beginning when you start taking the medicine, but after a while your body gets used to it.

Other side effects are: dizziness, shaking (tremors), sleepiness, tired feeling, drowsiness, loss of coordination, headache, blurred vision, nausea,
vomiting, stomach pain, dry mouth, ect.

To find the cause of gas, mostly look at the foods you eat daily, and try to avoid those that aggravate the gas in your bowel.
Drinking a lot of fluids helps, and eating a clean diet with a lot of fruits and vegetables.

If worse or not better, I would recommend seeing a local doctor.

Hope this is helpful.
