Question: I have found a patch on my tongue . I don’t know how long it has been here for but I am very scared of cancer . Please let me know what this is

Thanks for the query..

Well, the area you marked in the image looks like an inflamed area.

It can be due to tongue bite, any sharp cusps of tooth, any injury with sharp foods etc.

It does not look like anything serious and will heal gradually.

Continue doing warm saline rinses.

Avoid spicy, sharp and hard foods.

Suck ice pops

I have very sensitive bleeding gums

I have what I hope to be a normal ulcer on the floor of my mouth under tongue area on my left side.
