Question: I have delivered a baby boy about 3 months ago via c section. and from yesterday I am feeling dizziness quite a bit ( about 3-4 times) where I lost a bit of control on myself as well during that. can you please tell me what might be the cause of that?

Brief Answer:
Most likely peripheral vertigo.

Detailed Answer:
Thank you for posting your query.

I am Dr Sudhir Kumar, Neurologist, and I would try my best to help you.

I have noted your clinical details. Based on this, the most likely cause of your dizziness is peripheral vertigo. Peripheral vertigo is usually related to a minor ear dysfunction. This settles down on own in a few days. For relief of symptoms, you may take VERTIN (betahistine) tablets.

If symptoms do not subside in a few days, you may require evaluation to exclude other causes of dizziness.

I hope my answer helps. Please get back if you have any follow up queries or if you require any additional information.

Wishing you good health,
