Question: I have been having a cold and tingling sensation in both my legs for about a month. Mostly to both calf’s. My walking sometimes is difficult and I lose coordination. It almost feels like my legs will not move properly without my thinking about it. Difficulty climbing up or down stairs at times.

Brief Answer:
need neurologist evaluation..

Detailed Answer:

I went through your details with diligence. The symptoms you posted are not highly specific and hence I am unable to arrive at a conclusive medical condition. But my best guess is that these may be related to neuropathy. Neuropathic changes may be age related, nutrient deficiency, metabolic and endocrine related.

I would definitely recommend you to take an appointment with a neurologist. If that takes time, you may consider a physician alternatively. In my opinion, we should run some blood test that might include a complete blood count, ESR, Serum calcium, magnessium, vitamin b12, vitamin D, thyroid function as well as blood sugar level. A brain scan may also be needed.

Further management is based on test results. Therefore do not hesitate to see the doctor.

Hope this helps. Let me know if you need clarifications.
