Suggest Treatment For Red, Bumpy, Itchy Rashes On My Knees, Buttocks, Elbows, And Fingers
Question: I have a red, bumpy, itchy rash on my knees, buttocks, elbows, and fingers. It kind of feels like a lot of really bad fly bites. I have been experiencing a mix of both constipation and diarrhea for the last week. Today I am feeling quite nauseous and fatigued. My fingers are stingy and kind of stiff. I don't have access to a walk in clinic for the next three hours. What could it be?

This sounds like possibly eczema or psoriasis.
You could try an over the counter cortisone cream 1 percent applied to the afffected areas twice daily to see if this helps.

I went to the walk in clinic and they said it was a viral infection and there is nothing I can do other than drinking water. they ordered some blood work for me to do tomorrow. is this cream you speak of okay for this type of rash
