Brief Answer:
You need to have Xray of lumbar spine and orthopedician review

Detailed Answer:
Hi! Welcome to Healthcaremagic. Thanks for sharing your concerns with us. We will try to help you in best way possible. First of all it's sad to know what you had been going through lately.

Based on the history you have shared, it can't just be due to excercises failure but surgical complication or failure so a repeat X-ray lumbar spine and orthopedician review specially if the one who had done surgery can be approached is better.

Sometimes the implant can be misplaced and press on nerves or may need readjustment too. If needed CT scan or MRI may be needed to rule out soft tissue compression.

Meanwhile OTC analgesics like acetaminophen or Ibuprofen can be used alongwith lidocaine patches as you are using. If pain persists more potent analgesics like tramadol or gabapentin may be needed.

Also keep on taking supplements for calcium D3 and ossien mineral complexes for better bone formation and strength in Rest of vertebral column.

Weight bearing should be avoided and strenous excercise should better be avoided untill the work up we had discussed. Wishing you a speedy recovery. Regards
