Question: I am software engineer, who work on laptop more.
Even though i have protective screen for my laptop, but still i feel my eyes strain.
Usually i use iTone eye drops (ayurvedic) once in 4-5 months or when ever needed.

Recently i started with Refresh Liquigel drops (carboxymethylecellulose sodium eye drops), but was not satisfied with it.
So, is there any other eye drops with more advantage or useful and along with that please share tips to release from eye strain, kind of tips/exercise.

Brief Answer:
Computer vision syndrome.

Detailed Answer:

Hi,

This is classically described as computer vision syndrome. Three things are happening with your eyes, as you concentrate on the screen, your blinking is reduced. This added to the dryness induced by A.C. leads to dryness of eyes.
As you concentrate on the screen, your range of movement of eyes is minimal. So there is lack of circulation of blood around the eyes.

What you have to do is:
1) Frequent blinking of eyes and use lubricant, like refresh gel that you are using.
2) Give a break for 5 minutes every half hour or 40 minutes, when you give complete range of movement to your eyes. Right, left, up and down and rotating them clockwise and anticlockwise.
3) Have a good healthy ,balanced diet, exercise and rest.
Follow these guidelines and you will be fine.
