I Am Having Asthmatic Symptoms Like Wheezing And Shirt Of
Question: I am having asthmatic symptoms like wheezing and shirt of breath on and off and have seen local specialists.
I have sinus and recently undergone a nasal polyps surgery, but the doctors failed to clear my sinus between the two eyes. But polyps are no more and my nose cavity is clear abd easy to breathe.
If you go through my reports date wise along with the prescription you will be able to come to a conclusion.
My absolute esonophilis count was high on the first day and doctor prescribed albendazole and wyslone. After the repeated test show its gone down to from 1100 to 700.
Then i saw a gastroenterologist due to stomach inconvenience and he dud an endoscopy and he found Suspected to be of fungus. His prescription also attached for you to go through.
Recently i was gaving same symptoms of wheezing and shortness of breath and the test shows high esonophilis count.
Please go through the tests and let me know your over all view of this.

In my opinion, you should definitely get done fresh chest x ray, PFT (Pulmonary Function Test) and CT thorax.
If needed serum IgE and allergy testing should be done.
All these will help in identifying
1. Type of allergy
2. Asthma present or not
3. If asthma, severity of the disease?
And treatment of asthma is based on severity only.

I will be going through the tests you have recommended. Is it possible for an internal medicine specialist to diagnose with the tests you have recommended as here currently thete is no pulmonologist.
Secondly i would like to ask based on the reports is there any indication of cancer. My father had cancer.
