Detailed Answer:

Hi,
Welcome to HCM. Thank you for your query. I understand your concern.
Yes the drugs mentioned by you are effective in some patients with irritable bowel syndrome. Also complete td is an vitamin antoxidant can be taken without side effects. Longifene can cause some sleepiness, occasional dizziness, dry mouth with is usually manageable. Eliwel and librax help in reducing the sensitivity of intestines pain and improving stool issues. They are usually well tolerated with out much significant side effects but can too cause excess sleepiness. Mild constipation can occur with eliwel. Also avoid librax to be taken for longer duration especially more than 2 weeks as has mild habit forming potential.

Usually these do not cause any side effects on organs of body.

Hope this answers your query.

Brief Answer:
HI

Detailed Answer:
Thank you for your query.
Well all can be taken for six weeks but worthwhile reducing the dose or stopping librax if you are better after discussing with your doctor. No obvious need of LFT or RFT as such to be done.

Best wishes.
