Detailed Answer:
Hello

With habit of smoking and all these symptoms it’s strongly advisable to consult a doctor as required important tests will be required like
1. Complete blood count
2. Chest X-ray
3. Ecg
4. Echocardiogram

As these symptoms are mainly because of underlying cardiac or respiratory issues so kindly visit a hospital and get the tests done.

Kind Regards

Hi he knows he should go to the hospital but the fear of waiting around for hours to be seen while the whole corvid 19 situation is happening has scared him into not going to hospital

Brief Answer:
Hello again

Detailed Answer:
I can understand the situation but we don’t have any other option apart from getting these tests done first so that a proper medical diagnosis can be established. Treatment will depend entirely on it.

Motivate him to wear a proper mask. Hand wash regularly, do not touch his face and maintain adequate distance from others and he will be alright.

Kind Regards
