How To Use Nasal Spray For Cold?
Question: Cold from last many days? Have to use nosal spray to sleep. Can someone please leave. I have cold from the last 3 months.

I have read your query , reviewed your medications and understand your concern.
After reading your clinical history it appears that you are most probably having
Rhinitis medicamentosa (condition of rebound nasal congestion brought on by extended use of decongestants nose drops) . Decongestants nose spray are addictive in nature.
If I were your treating Doctor for this case , I would advice
consult ENT specialist for nose examination .
Stop oxymetazoline or xylometazoline nasal spray .
Till then use Antihistaminic Tab Claritin (Loratadine 10mg) at night ,
Saline nasal rinse or spray thrice daily like solspre nasal spray to keep nose clean &
Combination Steroid nasal spray with antihistamine 2 puff each nostril twice daily for cold .
Gargle with water 20 mins after nasal spray use to remove any spray coming to throat .
You will get relief .
You will need prescription for medications from doctor .
