How To Terminate Pregnancy?
Question: Hi doctor
I missed my periods this month. Last month I had my periods from 13 to 18. I intimated with my partner on 9 of this month. I.did a pregnancy test and found it to be positive. I generally have my periods from 10 to 16 of every month but sometimes it is a week late or so.Please tell how many week pregnacy is there and is it safe to abort. Also suggest how to do that.

There are two ways to estimate your gestational age .
1.In case of regular ovulatory cycles last menstruation date is taken as index and from it number of weeks are counted till date.
2.in case of irregular periords we need to depend on ultra sound based estimation of weeks.
in your case since you have irregular periods ultra sound scan is advisable for estimation of weeks.
