Brief Answer:
Please get X ray done to know if a golf ball is stuck in your anus

Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXX,
Thanks for writing in to us.

I have read through your query in detail.
Please find my observations below.

1. Golf balls can be well visualized on the X ray. I suggest you go to the ER and get a X ray done and find out if there is any golf ball which is stuck in the anus.

2. Most times a golf ball can be passed out in stools but sometimes if it is stuck high up then it requires to be removed by a doctor.

3. Please go to the ER and get a X ray of your abdomen done and if a golf ball is stuck then have it removed by the doctor.

Hope your query is answered.
Please do write back if you have any doubts.

Brief Answer:
Please find details below

Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXX,
Thanks for writing back with an update.

1. Your problem with the hospital is understandable. However you cannot take a chance and allow the golf ball to stay inside, if it is really stuck above your anus. You can have intestinal obstruction and perforation if there is injury to the large bowel.

2. The X ray required is of the lower abdomen and pelvic region. You can request for a KUB x ray which is done to see the kidneys and urinary bladder to avoid embarrassment. Any golf ball above the anus is visualized in the KUB x ray.

3. Please do not try and remove it yourself because it can cause injury.

Hope your query is answered.
Please do write back if you have any doubts.
