Detailed Answer:
Hello XXXXX,
Thank you for posting your query on HCM.
I appreciate your concern regarding hairfall and will try to suggest you the best possible solution.
Thinning of hair over scalp and hairfall is pretty common condition seen during pregnancy and lactation.
As, you must be aware there are major changes in your body during pregnancy. Because of various hormones secreted during pregnancy, many changes are observed in skin and hair, hairfall been one of them.
These changes/conditions usually dont warrant treatment unless and untill its causing psychological or cosmetic burden.
The best way to manage your situation would be to de-stress your life by indulging into activities like medication etc because stress is going to aggravate your hairfall.
Take a proper balanced diet enriched with lots of fruits and vegetables.
Apart from these basic tips, i would suggest you to continue your calcium and iron supplements as advised because nutritional deficiency is also common during pregnancy which can secondary lead to hairfall. Additionally i would suggest nutritional supplement containing biotin which specifically helps in hair repair and growth.
Also consult your dermatologist for the peptide solutions which can reduce your hairfall and boost hair growth.
Right shampoo and conditioner is must for healthy hair. Loreal as a brand is good but they do have some harsh chemicals. I would suggest ask your dermatologist to prescribe you a very gentle shampoo free of sulphur and tar for regular use.
Avoid combing in the wet hair and let them dry on its own.
Use wide-toothed comb and avoid use of hair dryer/blower as far as possible.
I would also suggest you to use mild haircolor, free of ammonia and PPD if you color your hair regularly.
I hope this answer will solve your questions in a long way.
