Hypothyroidism and associated features

Detailed Answer:
Dear
Thanks for contacting with your health concern and following is/are necessary guidelines before step wise line of management:

1. Going by your B.M.I (27.92) you are overweight but not obese.

2. Although Iron level is on low side but at the same time TIBC (total iron binding capacity) and CBC (Complete blood count) is normal.

3. Lipid profile is showing Dyslipidemia, i.e. bad cholesterol is high and good cholesterol is low.

4. Thyroid picture reveals Hypothyroidism
PS. latest normal value for TSH is 0.3 to 3.04mIU/L)

5. Vitamin D level is low and ionised calcium level is at baseline.

6. Prior to start with further line of mangement please ask with your attending physician regarding:

i. Elevated TSH (Hypothyroidism) level can result in
. High cholesterol
. Low iron level
. Hypovitaminosis D and Hypocalcemia.

PS. One can start with medicine for thyroid and then check with above said values again to make sure that whether these abnormalities are independent or due to Thyroid disorder, do let me know about the same so that further necessary assistance can be provided.

7. If medicine for high prolacrin level is not available you can opt for
. Lac def in 1M potency followed by Chinanthus Q as 5 drops thrice daily but check with your local physician regrding the same.
