Question: I was diagnosed with hypothyroid and i'm taking glucophage 750 3 times a day i'm facing a problem i keep gaining wait and i cant lose weight whatever i did.

What are medications which you are taking for thyroid, Glucophase is for Diabetes. So please mention those drugs. Once your thyroid hormone is normal your weight will also come in control.

My medication dor thyroid isethyrox 50 mg everyday

Brief Answer: Is your tsh in normal range Detailed Answer: Hi, Thanks for writing back. Drugs for thyroid is given according to level of TSH. so if your TSH is still high above normal range that means your dose is not sufficient. Also when thyroid not remain normal for long time , it shows effect in terms of weakness, shoulder and hip pain and weight gain. So I would recommend you to monitor your TSH level closely and according to that ask your doctor to increase or decrease amount of your drugs. Apart from taking these medicines, I would also suggest you to do daily exercises, taking balance diet and soon you will be towards normal weight. I agree though that with diabetes and thyroid both are present, it will be slow and difficult to achieve. regards,
