Brief Answer:
A course of oral antibiotics and anti-inflammatory medications.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

Welcome and thanks for posting your query to the forum.

I can understand your concern for the bright red pimple on your lip and its earliest healing in 2 days.

Big pimples have two main issues: one is infection inside these and the second is the inflammation or swelling in the pimple which is the main cause of redness and swelling.

So in your kind of cases I prefer to give a course of oral antibiotics and anti-inflammatory medications.

If I were your treating dermatologist then would have preferred to give a course of oral antibiotic such as Cefixime with clavulinic acid for two times a day after meals. As it is an antibiotic so a full 5 day course must be taken.

Additionally I would have preferred to give anti-inflammatory medicine such as paracetamol or diclofenac or ibuprofen for two times. A course of any of these anti-inflammatory medicine is sufficient to reduce the swelling. These should also be taken after meals.

Additionally I would have preferred to suggest a topical antibiotic cream to apply over the area such as Clindamycin 1 % gel or mupirocin or fucidin over the pimple.

I also suggest you to not touch or pinch or pop the area as can get more inflamed and therefore more noticeable.

I hope this information will help you. I will be glad to guide you any further.
