How To Get A Safe Medical Abortion?

Question: I got my cycle on Feb 3rd. My cycle length is about 30 to 31 days in length. My husband and I went on a short vacation after 20 years of marriage. On the 17th day of the menstrual cycle, my husband and I had sex, which is the fertile period. Following sex, I took 2 tablets of Postinor 2 within 24 hrs, another 2 tablets 12 hrs later. On the 24th and 25th day, we had sex again once on each day. I took 2 tablets of postinor 2 within 24 hrs, another 2 tablets 12 hrs later and another 2 tablets 12 hrs later again, on both days, just to be sure to avoid pregnancy. My period is due around March 5th. Have I delayed my period due to taking postinor 2 several times? I don't want to get pregnant because we already have 2 teenage daughters and we are in our 40's and early 50's.

1) Taking POSTINOR-2 within first 24 hrs gives more than 95% protection against unwanted pregnancy. Here, chance of pregnancy is quite LOW.

2) Period is delayed due to effect of the pill (Hormonal imbalance). You have taken many pills in short time span.

3) You should await for 7-10 days to get period normally. If you don't get it by this time, you must undergo one home pregnancy test to rule out pregnancy.

Thank you, Doctor, for your reply.
Awaiting 7.-10 days, does that mean 7-10 days from period due date i.e. March 5th, 7-10 days from March 5th? Or 7-10 days from last time of sexual activity?
Also, in the past 5 days, after the last time we had sex, I have noticed some discharge, period odor, mild stomach cramps and mild cramps around waist.
So, because I have taken too many pills, this has caused my period to be delayed.

My last question, doctor. If pregnant, which we hope it is not because of our age and stage in life, how and what to do to end pregnancy, if pregnant? What is the medical procedure? What is the process and how long it will take for the procedure? I am 45 years old and my husband is 52 years old.

On positive pregnancy test, you should consult with gynecologist for medical termination of pregnancy. He/ she will prescribe medicine or pill for abortion.

Follow the direction of using those pills. It will take up to 7 days to complete the process of abortion. Do one ultrasound scan after that to check any residual placental tissue or remnants.
