How To Determine Ovulation Days For Easy Conception While On Clomid?
Question: Taken Clomid 50 mg frm day 5 to 9. N we will be traveling. How can u come to know exact time of ovulation. My last period was on the 26th Feb.
Wen I conceived my baby girl i was on clomid n was given injection to induce ovulation. This time im trying for a boy n want to time intercourse as close to ovulation.
Do u recommend taking injection this time also?
And after injection how many hours later i wud ovulate?Or shud i try naturally

1) Ovulation occurs approx 14 days prior to next period due date in regular cycle (28-30 days). You can use ovulation prediction kit (available in medical store) to predict your ovulation day in the middle of cycle.
2) You must be prepared for unprotected sex during your high fertile days (D12 to D18) or close to your ovulation day (as per calculation or using above kit).
3) I suggest you to try naturally at least 3 to 6 months as you are already using ovulation induction drug (CLOMID). You just track down your ovulation day by above mentioned kit. It will be more helpful.
4) If you fail to conceive by above method and medicine, then ovulation induction injection can be given after consultation with your doctor.
5) Ovulation occurs after approx 36-40 hours of trigger injection and a repeat injection may be given (other one) for ovulation.
6) Take healthy balanced diet, fresh fruits, Vitamin E, Zinc and folic acid supplement to improve fertility and chance of conception naturally. Maintain genital hygiene properly.

Also ive heard tat cervical mucus becomes thick after taking clomid. Do u suggest ne supplement or lubricant so tat i get enough n fertile cm?

2) CLOMID can sometimes affect cervical mucus by making it more hostile as a result of dehydration. A dehydrated, hostile cervical environment severely hinders natural conception.
However, thick cervical mucus or absence of it also makes intercourse painful for the woman, as well as decrease enjoyment for the man and sperm count also.
3) I can suggest you to use K-Y jelly (water based lubricant) and evening prime XXXXXXX capsule (1000-2000 mg) to combat the hostile cervical mucus.
