Brief Answer:
typical sliding scale

Detailed Answer:
Hello and thank you for your question.
A typical sliding scale is
0-199 do nothing
200-249--take 2 units of short acting insulin
250-299 --take 4 units of short acting insulin
300-349--take 6 units of short acting insulin
350-399-- take 8 units of short acting insulin
over 400--take 10 units of short acting insulin

This is the amount adding to your regular short acting insulin and should only be taken before meals and not at bedtime.
Consult your doctor to make sure this is an appropriate dosing schedule for you before you use it

Dr. Robinson
