Brief Answer: Blood pressure monitoring and salt intake Detailed Answer: Hi XXXXXXX Thanks for coming to HealthCareMagic. It seems as though you may be suffering from Orthostatic Hypotension. This is a situation where changes in your position can bring on hypotension. To properly evaluate this condition you need to get to a cardiologist and have it evaluated. Before you meet the cardiologist, go and get an ECG and make sure that you do not have an arrhythmia (an irregular heartbeat) which can also cause hypotension. A Chest X-Ray is also needed to make sure there are no structural issues which can cause blockage of the output of the heart. Also. I would like you to get a battery of blood tests done to check for anemia and other issues which can cause hypotension. Please get to a doctor and get a referral for a CBC, Na, K+, Serum Creatinine, BUN, LFTS, Calcium, and a Thyroid profile. Once you have the ECG and the blood work, you can upload it here and follow-up and also make an appointment with the cardiologist. They will want these basics for sure. I hope this helps. Follow-up as soon as you can. Thanks for coming to HealthCareMagic.com
