I am aged 49,and Diabetic with Hba1c around 8.9.Having fatty liver with SGPT 82,SGOT 52,choletsrol 187,triglycerdies 204.Random Blood sugar 233.I am on diamicron XR 60,and Oakmet 500 both 1 tab dialy,and on LIV 52 @ 2 tab,both in the morning and night. pleas advise me.Can i change the medicines for Sugar control,as i am taking this for a long time since 7 years.My blood sugar level doesnt reduce below this level.Pl advise

Dear Mr. XXXXXXX, Hi! you deserve a better control. you please change dimicron XR 60 to glimeperide 2 mg twice a day, and increase metformin to 1g twice a day. you may also add vildagliptine 50 mg twice a day. you may change liv 52 to udiliv 300 mg twice a day. please check your creatinine and lipid profile and let me know. regards!

creatinine 0.9 mg and lipid profile :- HDL 41.2, LDL 116,VLDL 40.9, Cholstrol/HDL ratio 4.5.
For metformin tablet :- please suggest the name.
