Its Monday today and i see no bleeding, I am afraid if the tablet worked?
I am home since a week and i need to go to work, cannot afford to miss office.

Brief Answer:
Wait another 1-2 days.

Detailed Answer:
Hello Dear,

Thanks for writing to us. I understand your concern.

1) You need to await at least 48 to 72 hrs following administration of abortion pills or tablets and proper vaginal bleeding including abdominal cramp may start anytime within this time period. I suggest to await another 1 to 2 days before reassessment.

2) If you don't get proper bleeding or fleshy mass, then you should contact with your doctor for examination. You may need to take double dose of medicine. One ultrasound scan may be required further.

Hope, I have answered your query. Wish your good health and take care.

Hi,
Thanks for your reply.

Is it common that it takes 48-72hrs?
I dont see any pain or cramps , it was there only for 5-6hrs and no pain from then
I am really worried..
I am not married,I dont want to prolong the time as i dont want the foetus to grow and cause more complications.

The doctor is charging high price 3000/ only for the tablets excluding for scan, consultation , antibiotics ,blood test, urine test.

and btw my blood count is 10 i guess it should range between 12-14 is it?

is there any way i can get the second dose of pills?
my doctor has not revealed the name of the pills but i guess its Misoprostol

Hello Dear,

Welcome back again.

1) In most of the cases, abortion process takes 48-72 hrs. However, it varies from women to women. I suggest to await another 1-2 days.

2) Normal hemoglobin level is 12-15 gm%. You should take iron supplements or food to combat deficiency or anemia.

3) You need reassessment before taking second dose of pills to avoid ill-health effect and you should contact with your treating doctor for prescription.
