Hello
Welcome to Health Care Magic

Rate of HIV infection has been following a wave like pattern since 1995 in Cameroon.
In 1995 prevalence rate was around 6% and it was in increasing trend till about 2001, it was about 12%. Then with proper health education and application of various programs it started following decreasing trend. Presently it is about 5.1% as per data available on wikipedia.

The prevalence rate decreased drastically in 2002-2003 where is decreased to 6% from about 12% in 2001.

Thanks, Hope I solved your question.
