It is not clear about symptoms, duration, associated diseases or coinfection, partner history and treatment etc.
Usually the symptoms do subside by 5-7 days and follow up is done after 7 days to look for treatment efficacy.
It is important to treat partner simultaneously if any and to abstain from intetcourse during thus period.
