Brief Answer:
Diagnosis: Allergic contact dermatitis most likely

Detailed Answer:

Hello,

The characteristics and acute onset of rash is more in favor of allergic contact dermatitis than folliculitis. Contact dermatitis can occur due to anything that comes in contact with your skin. So avoid using any new products on your face.

You can also apply Hydrocortisone 1 percent ointment twice daily until the rash subsides. You can also take 10 mg cetirizine at bedtime for a week. Apply soothing calamine lotion if you have itching or burning.

Hope this answers your question. Please let me know if you need further clarification.

Thank you doctor!
The pimps are forming pus and sting more than itch. Before forming so much pims i had two on the face with pus. The pimps are spread symetrically in both chicks.
Can it be alergic reaction from food or only by something that I had contact?
Thank you again

Detailed Answer:

Hi,

The characteristics of the rash is suggestive of contact dermatitis. Food allergy do not develop such rashes. The pus points were not much visible on the picture. However, if pus can be seen, then infection is present. Infection can occur in skin affected with allergy.

Apply mupirocin (antibiotic) ointment on affected areas thrice daily along with cetirizine 10 mg daily at bed time. If infection is present, it is best to avoid hydrocortisone cream for first few days until the pus goes away after which hydrocortisone cream can be used. If the rash worsens in next 24 to 36 hours, follow up with your primary care provider.

Detailed Answer:

Hi,

Contact dermatitis occur in areas of direct contact with skin only. The hemorrhoid cream is unlikely to cause this issue. Several factors like lotions, soap, laundry detergent, makeup to name a few can cause such reaction. Both mupirocin ointment and cetirizine can be safely taken during breastfeeding.

Detailed Answer:

Hi,

Glad to hear that the rash is subsiding. You may discontinue cetirizine once the symptoms completely subsides. Products you have used before can trigger an allergic reaction. You must also make sure to check the expiry dates on products you use. The pattern of the rash on the face is suggestive that it is unlikely due to gold necklace.

Coming into contact with another person's skin can trigger an allergic reaction as your skin is being exposed to the creams, or other products they use.

Brief Answer:
Test the creams for allergy

Detailed Answer:

Hi,

If you are worried about allergic reaction to a cream, always apply it on small area of skin like behind the ear, inside forearm etc which is not obviously visible. Leave the cream on for at least 24 hours and see if the area develops any skin changes. If no reaction occur at the test site, then the creams can be safely applied to the face too.
