Question: 91 year old male with scrotical herina had for ten years, size of large grapefruit.
sat on portable toilet stand, scrotum got caught on frame patient felt tear inside and pain.
Bleeding for three days when having bowel movements. Opinion for treatment? or diagnoses

If this was just temporary pain and there are no associated nausea, vomit, or constipation then this is probably not serious and it can be managed by rest, analgesics and warm compress.

If there is constant pain or other symptoms then it could indicate hernia incarceration so he should see a surgeon as soon as possible.
