Is there a permanent cure to this? I have extensively got myself checked clinically and no apparent ailment has been found. Will CT scan help in further diagnosis? This problem of headache is roughly one year old. I don't have any reason (known) for being under stress. Will it help if I see a psychiatrist?

Brief Answer:
CT scan would help.

Detailed Answer:
Thank you for getting back.

Doing a CT scan of head would help in ruling out conditions that can cause headaches such as reduced blood flow to brain (infarct), tumours, infections, etc. However, the chances of finding them are low.

Psychiatrist evaluation is not needed, as you do not have any psychiatric symptoms.

If CT is normal, you may be treated for migraine for permanent cure.
